An environmentally conscious client wanted a sustainable new home designed around an existing Oak Tree
The solution was to organize the house around the tree into two bars – one for garage/bedrooms and the other for living/master suite.

The house is currently  in the USGBC LEED for Homes certification process. Gold attainable
Noteworthy features include:

The owner desired the architectural character to be a balance of arts & crafts with a modern open interior.

The architect designed and fabricated the steel for the main stair-vertical railings, which were inspired by grape vines. The architect also designed and fabricated the light fixtures above the kitchen and master suite.
